How I support Reset and Recover Halton CIC
I am a founding director of Reset and Recover Halton CIC, and the person who built the organisation around our frontline team and keeps it running day to day.
I work in the background so the team can focus on the people in front of them. That covers our governance and safeguarding structures, our systems and day-to-day operations, partnerships and funding, and the technology that keeps our programme consistent, accessible, and accountable.
Scott, Eoin, Luke and the wider group bring the lived experience and lead the recovery work. My job is to build and maintain everything around them, so that what helps one person can reach many, and so that Reset and Recover Halton CIC is run properly and built to last.
What I bring
My background is in technology. I spent twenty years working in IT support before moving into app development, first building apps alongside my work for around five years, and for the last five years doing it full time. That mix of long-term problem solving and hands-on building is what I bring to Reset and Recover.
It means the team has something most grassroots groups never get: proper systems, reliable digital tools, and the structure to let good support reach more people without losing the personal touch that makes it work.
